Missy's Orange Rolls

What's a holiday feast without orange rolls? These rolls are de-li-cious! I'm making them for Christmas dinner, my first rolls ever!!!

Orange Rolls

Ingredients for rolls:
4 cups flour
1 pkg active dry yeast
1 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs

Directions:
Combine 2 cups flour and 1 package active dry yeast
Heat and stir 1 cup milk, 1\3 cup sugar, 1\3 cup butter and 1\2 tsp. salt until butter almost melts(don't make it too hot, just warm)
Add to flour mixture along with 2 eggs
Beat with mixer on high for 3 minutes
Using a spoon stir in 2 cups flour
Turn out on a lightly floured surface, Knead in a little flour to make a soft dough that doesn't stick to your fingers. The dough should be smooth and elastic.
Shape into a ball and Place in a lightly greased big bowl
Cover with damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour (the dough should double in size)
Punch dough down, divide in half , Cover and let rest for 10 min.

Orange Mixture
2 grated orange peels
1/2 cup sugar

Roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread with butter and then orange mixture. Roll up from one of the long sides and then cut down the roll You should get about 12 rolls for each hunk of dough.
Place rolls in greased pans
Let rise for 30 min. covered
Bake at 375 for 20 min. Rolls should be lightly browned on top
When still warm drizzle with this mixture: 1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 Tbsp. orange juice
